Dr. Julia Spears, MD

Dr. Spears, MD is a plastic surgeon with significant teaching experience. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 1987, Dr. Spears completed her Bachelor of Science and graduated Summa Cum Laude at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed the University of Pennsylvania's Post-Baccalaureate Program in 1992. Dr. Spears finished her M.D. at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1996. She underwent general surgery training at Temple University Hospital before continuing her residency in the Section of Plastic Surgery and joined the faculty at Temple University Hospital as an assistant professor. Over the next 7 years, she became an associate professor of plastic surgery and assistant program director of the residency program. In 2007, she joined Dr. Amit Mitra in the formation of Hahnemann Center for Plastic, Cosmetic and Hand Surgery and became an assistant professor at Drexel University. Dr. Spears is an expert in her field and she brings her wealth of knowledge to every patient conversation.
